The picture is of a flat we started last year, one of many. These seeds came from my grandmother who used to save them every year.  My mother continued to save them each year from her garden, and now I (am 50) have been carrying on the tradition.  They are VERY hardy, normally even surviving light frost well into the fall.  We planted them EVERYWHERE.  Full sun appreciated, very little care needed.  Marigolds have been shown to help repel certain pests, and help keep bugs at bay if you crush them and roll them on yourself.  Please make sure your not allergic first.  We hope you will enjoy these in your garden as much as we have!
