To grow garlic from corms, follow these steps:

- Choose healthy, firm garlic corms for planting. Avoid using garlic from the grocery store as they may be treated to prevent sprouting.
2. **Preparing the Soil:**
- Ensure the soil is well-draining and loose. Garlic prefers fertile soil with a pH of 6.0 to 7.0.
- Add compost or well-rotted manure to the soil before planting.
3. **Planting Corms:**
- Plant the corms in the fall, about 6-8 weeks before the first frost date in your area.
